How do I describe turns?
There are two general message profiles that can be voiced by BlindSquare when entering an iBeacon cloud for a STATIC iBeacon.
1. A VLM (Virtual Land Marker) used to identify "Where am I" information and general options based on the current  location.  This could be described as the PARENT record.  A VLM record is omnidirectional,  you can enter the cloud from any heading and the message text provided will be read.
- If there are CHILD records that have compass headings, BlindSquare will continue the voicing to include the expression "forward to" and then read the message associated with the child record correct for the direction being faced.
2. A HEADING TYPE record, used to identify "what are my options" facing a specific direction. Â This could be described as a CHILD record. Â
- A TYPE record must be STATIC (not MOBILE).
- The TYPE record will provide messages based on heading range matching the current compass reading. Â As you turn bodily (or turn the device) changing the compass bearing, a new message will be read when entering a new heading range.
- example, if heading range is 0, a compass reading 22 degrees on either side <or a 45 degree range> OR the same expressed as 338-22 will be read if the device's compass reading is found within this range.
Turns can be described, in the MESSAGE fields using clock face, a universal language
This is provided as a guide.
USE CASE: Â Traveler enters a front entrance to a hotel, enters an IBeacon cloud. The VLM record responds by voicing
"Welcome to the BlindSquare Inn. Go forward to the front desk, turn right, 4:00 for the washrooms, Â turn left 10:00 for Concierge. Turn back; 6:00 to exit"
