Can I present messages in other languages "automatically"?
When it comes to presenting information it is ALWAYS best to a) have the messaging created by a native-language speaker and b) have the wording of same reviewed by an O&M for standards compliance. However - read on.
Automatic language translation
We can now automate the translation of text supplied in MESSAGE EN and MESSAGE EN 2 fields to a variety of languages (25) supported by the BlindSquare native application.
While the best-case will always be to have a native language speaker (ie, a Fin for Finnish, a Turk for Turkish, etc.) sometimes the requirement is simple OR that the cost of a perfect translation exceeds the benefit - and an approximate translation might suffice.
