Can I use a tablet to edit the g.sheet?
Of course! You have two options:
- To use the Google sheet app for iOS or Android.
- To use a mobile browser. There are considerations for both options detailed below.
Using Google Sheet

Google Sheet APP is available on iTunes (for iOS) or Google Play (for Android). Either will provide access to portable and flexible mobile platform best suited for review and minor changes. The APPS can be powered by tablet (i.e., iPad) or hand-held devices (i.e., iPhone). The Google Sheet app provides easy access to one or many Google Sheets.
Not all features of the laptop/desktop browser are supported, in particular the ability to filter data or the use of drop down menus.
Example of a Google Sheet on an iOS tablet using a web browser (Google Chrome)
In the illustration above, filters and drop-down menus remain not available, by default. However, if you select the icon, on the top right, you can "Request Desktop Site" to gain access to more features.
Changing Browser to use Desktop Site using Google Chrome on the mobile device.
Selecting <1> Request Desktop Site will restate the display providing the same view and features found on desktop/laptop browsers. This feature is ONLY available when using Google Chrome.

<3> drop down menus
