Can I use an iPod Touch or an iPad without a GPS sensor?
BlindSquare takes advantage of all available sensors in the iOS device. It does, however, require minimally Wi-Fi access for data loads, GPS for location services and Compass, to determine headings. Other sensors (such as altimeter and motion) available in iPhone 5s+ will be used if available.
iPods and iPads without 3G/4G lack the required sensors
Even if capable of connecting to the internet, only basic information will be available without GPS/Compass.
